FOUNDERS DAY SOCIAL

Oct. 16th, we had our FOUNDERS DAY SOCIAL at Sandra and David's place. Members and some prospective members came and had fellowship while enjoying some food brought by everyone.

Rochielle officially opened the Program by sharing a nice story: The Starfish Story, which is posted here too. Afterwards, as assigned earlier, the History, or should I say, the beautiful history of Pilot International was read by Tyrus, then Jenny, then Carol, then a Pilot friend-Lorenia, then David, then Elsielee.
It was such a wonderful story to hear and how everything about Pilot that we see and know today evolved from a very simple beginning. I will post the history soon for your leisure reading.

Then, everyone watched a short Slideshow of pictures taken from different occasions/events of Pilot Club of Chula Vista! If you missed it, please feel free to check the video here at our website.

Right after the reading of the history and the slideshow, Susan was tasked to read the Code of Ethics, which is another beautiful piece to hear. Indeed so, as one of our prospective members: Lorenia can't help but blurted it out that she'll be a different person after tonight. There goes our first Starfish...and someone seconded ...named CJ, our second Starfish!
After realizing how much food we had or should I say enjoyed, we all pose for some picture-taking...and whatever happens thereafter...I am not sure I want to really share...hahaha, no worries, that is simply because I was gone!

Thank you to all who came and most especially Sandra and David for their hospitality.

Enjoy the pictures now...

it was a great opportunity for pilots, co-pilots and friends to mingle and relax and learn from each other making a difference one starfish at a time.
