HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

I couldn't think of what to write to introduce our special activity tomorrow, so I surfed and searched and found this quote from Maya Angelou:

“I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”

Yes, tomorrow, we the Pilot Club of Chula Vista hopes to make some 50+ lady residents at the Birch Patrick Convalescent Homes feel very special by our presence and simple offering in celebration of Mother's Day! This is our own little way to make them feel that they are always in our thoughts, most especially on days like this.

Here's how and what we have prepared for our special moms...
We set up the vases, and then the ferns and some baby's breath...
And then the flower...this year we chose the Carnation again...
while the others are in charge of the ribbons...
then some water to keep the flowers fresh...
Then attach the card especially made for them (front)
and here's the back part of the card...
with the ribbons, tie them on to the vases...

Happy to pose for some group picture-taking...as the flowers are ready to be delievered tomorrow to our dear mothers...
