Father's Day

Yes, last Saturday-June 19th, we visited some 48 male residents of Fredericka Manor Care Center along 3rd Avenue in Chula Vista for our Father's Day annual activity. Cynthia Aguilar, their Activities Director was very nice and accommodating in letting us give out some white shirts as a simple gift for them. She introduced Pilot Club of Chula Vista to each and everyone of them as we hand out our little present, something we really appreciate about her.

As pictures below would show, we were allowed by some of the "dads" to take pictures with them and their dog. Some were surprised why they're getting presents and when we told them that it's Father's Day the next day, they happily said: "I'm a father!"... what a very touching moment for us, won't trade it for anything that afternoon!

So, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Cynthia for allowing us to visit their very nice and clean facility and hopefully made some of their fathers happy and felt special.
